Red, green or Christmas
Chile Addiction cooked the food of New Mexico in Las Vegas: enchiladas rolled or stacked, carne adovada, pork verde, posole, green chile stew, stuffed sopaipillas, and chile on nearly everything.
The first question at the table was always the same: red, green, or Christmas, which is both. The menu named its dishes with a wink, from the Rehab huevos rancheros to the Relapse green chile cheeseburger and the In Recovery desserts, and every September we fired up a Hatch green chile roast.
The dining room sat in Suite 105 at 3345 East Patrick Lane, with red booths, ristras hanging from the ceiling, and a sun on the wall. Birthdays got a sombrero. The kids' hot dog shares its name with Frankie, the original Frankie Dog, a small gray dog with a lot of tennis balls.
Thank you to everyone who ate with us. The menu is here as we served it, and the photos are the ones we took.
